Ways To Beat The January Blues


Now the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year is over, nearly everyone is in the January blues. No more festive spirits and excitement, only being cold and moody. To keep you all out of feeling down, here are some ways to make this January your best January ever.

1.) Eat all of the junk food you got at Christmas. Chocolate and sweets always make you feel better. Whenever I have had a bad day or I am just feeling down I will go and get something to eat that I love. Don't get me wrong don't eat to much but Christmas junk food is okay, I mean who else is going to eat it?

2.) Watch lots of films and Tv shows. Films and Tv shows are a great way to make yourself occupied, amused and to take your mind of the horrible weather that is outside. Being wrapped in a blanket with a warm hot chocolate while watching your favourite film must be the BEST feeling ever!

3.) Go on a shopping spree. If you have any money left over from Christmas, spend it on some little things that you can treat yourself with. This could be clothes, make up or some sunglasses that you really wanted.

4.) Get baking! Cakes, biscuits, brownies and anything else you can bake is always going to cheer you up. It is basically what they are there for! The excitement and fun of baking is my favourite thing, however I do also like it when they are finished so I can eat them all up.

5.) Socialise with family and friends. I guess this kind of contradicts my second point.) Watch lots of films and Tv shows. Of course this is always an option but talking to real people, not shouting at computer screen at your favourite characters is a great way to forget about the January blues!
