Happiness

All written by me.

Happiness can be seen from anyone, it can be felt from everyone. You just have to explore it.
I love that rare moment where you feel like you are at the highest point of a mountain. No one can reach you. You feel like you have made it, everything you have been through is forgotten. In that moment, that rare moment, is where you feel truly alive. It’s where you feel against the world.
And even when it has stopped, even when everything comes flooding back. Every worry and every memory. You will always remember the moment. This is why I love happiness. Because even when I’m sad, when I’m at the lowest point of the mountain I will always remember that moment and gradually, even if it takes the longest time, you will finally reach the highest point of the rough and steep mountain again.

My Favourite Shows To Watch on Netflix

Netflix is basically my guilty pleasure. I could sit all day, of course with my dairy milk what you can see below, and just watch a whole series and not even feel bad about it. No more socialising for me- oops. After I finish a show though I always find it hard to try and find a new show that is equally as good so I am going to share some of my favourite tv shows on Netflix.

 90210
This was the first ever show I started to watch on Netflix and no joke everyday after school and all day at the weekends I would watch this programme. I was literally addicted! It is just about high school kids growing up in America and it has some amazing story lines.

 Gossip Girl
After finishing 90210 I then went onto Gossip Girl. This again is basically like 90210 but they all live in New York and are really rich. You get to see inside of a life of a rich person in New York. It is so addictive and you end up just wanting to watch it all the time.

The Vampire Diaries
This is literally the best show and it is just my kind of show. It is on it's sixth season now and I love it. There is a vampires (of course erin, it is in the title), witches, werewolves and so many different kinds of 'people' in it. If you like supernatural and a bit of horror/thriller and then this programme is juts for you.

 Pretty Little Liars
PLL is basically known by everyone, it is so popular. I like this tv show because it so tense and you don't know what is going to happen next. Every series is different and the last one was probably the best because there was a huge reveal. I won't tell you because if you haven't watched it then this would be a massive spoiler and you would probably be screaming spoiler alert!!

Leave in the comments if you have watched any of these. I would love to know what you thought of them!

See you soon,
Love Erin x

The Christmas Tag

What's your favourite Christmas film?
It has to be Home Alone, it is just a perfect film for Christmas and makes you feel sad, happy and excited all at the same time. I remember last year watching this film about 20 times each month starting from September!

Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I have had a white Boxing Day, if that counts? In the UK when it snows it never sticks as it has usually rained the night before, it really is so sad :(
That's a dog, not a demon by the way

Where do you usually spend your Christmas?
I always spend it at my Grandparents house with my family, I have my best memories there.

What is your favourite Christmas song?
I have so many- ahhh I can't choose. It is going to have to be Michael Buble It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas. It just puts you in such a Christmassy mood!

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Ruldoph, Dixen, Blitzen, Prancer... I can name no more. oops.

What holiday traditions are you most looking forward to this year?
Getting my new pj's on Christmas Eve and going to the pantomime on Boxing Day. I am definitely looking forward to at the end of Christmas Day sitting next to the fire and playing different quizzes and games with my family.

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Real.

What is your favourite all-time Christmas treat?
Lindt Christmas chocolates- mmm they are sooo good!

Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving them?
I really don't know. You should always give at Christmas though, I love both of the feelings. Seeing people open your gifts that you gave them and receiving gifts that people have given to me.

What is the best Christmas gift you have ever been given?
It has to be Ed Sheeran Tickets at Wembley, London. I love Ed Sheeran, his voice and music is amazing. It was such a big surprise as well. My mum had put the tickets in an Ed Sheeran book and when I opened the present I just thought it was a little book but when I opened the first page there was two tickets in there. There was a lot of screaming!

What would be your dream place to visit in the Christmas time?
I would love to experience every country at Christmas, I think it would be so interesting and fun but I would have to say either Lapland (yes, Lapland- don't judge) or New York. They would be both so magical and such exciting experiences.

Are you a pro- wrapper or do you fail miserably?
I fail miserably. I can't wrap anything without making a mistake. I can't even get the right amount of wrapping paper. Never ask me to wrap anything...

Most memorable holiday moment?
Last Christmas was by far my favourite Christmas I have ever had. I just enjoyed it so much. When it started to snow on Boxing Day last year, that has to be my favourite memory. Everyone was so happy and excited. It was like a late white christmas.

Do you make New Years Resolutions and do you stick to them?
I gave up on doing these a couple of years ago. I can't stick with anything. A few years ago one of my resolutions was stop biting you nails, gave up with that in about two days time and I am still biting them today. Actually, I might do a list this year and then if I stick to one of them I will tell you- haha.

What makes the holidays so special to you?
Just getting to see all of my family and spending time with them. The never ending laughs, the excitement, the build up and the stress-free two weeks that you get to relax.

That is the end of my Christmas tag. I would love to see your Christmas tags so if you have done one or are planning to do one leave your blog in the comments and I will be sure to have a look at it.
Merry Christmas!

See you soon,

Little Bents Christmas Trip

One of my favourite things to do in December is to visit places that will make me more festive and in a Christmas mood. Bents is a massive garden centre and at Christmas time it has the best decorations and basically everything just Christmas. We went there to have dinner and of course see all the decorations.

Of course I got my favourite drink, A VANILLA LATTE. You have to admit they are the tastiest!

I always love going to Bents but I do like going more at Christmas. Everything and everyone is just so festive. The food there is also amazing... oops I am hungry now!

See you soon,

5 Things To Do On Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always the day where everyone just wants it to go as fast as possible! However I think Christmas Eve is so exciting and fun and just shouldn't be wished away. This year I am going to try and make an effort on Christmas Eve and be more festive. I am going to share some of the things that I am going to try and do so you could maybe join me and do the same.

1.) Bake Cookies. I absolutely love baking especially at Christmas time as there is so many things you can actually bake. Cookies are definitely my favourite food to bake at Christmas though, only because there are so many different shape cutters you can use. There are reindeer's, snowman, father Christmas's and so many more! Whenever I bake cookies with these cutters I can never get over how cute they look and how they always end up so delicious.

2.) Go Late Christmas Shopping. This might be a big NO to some people but I personally really enjoy doing this. You don't have to actually go shopping, you could just go for the Christmas lights and Christmas decorations that are always put up in the streets. Everyone and everything is just so festive and I just love it!

3.) Go To Different Christmas Events. This could be an outdoor ice rink or Christmas markets. I am going to go ice skating this Christmas Eve which I am really looking forward to. There are always different events on Christmas Eve that you can go to, they are always being advertised.

4.) Buy Some New Christmas PJ's. This is a tradition I only started a few years ago but my mum goes out and buys me new PJ's to wear on Christmas Eve which she wraps up and only lets me open on Christmas Eve. I think it is so cute and even if you don't want to get any PJ's you could just get a Christmas DVD or even just some snacks like chocolate an sweets.

5.) Track Father Christmas. This is such a cute thing to do if you have little children, siblings or cousins. I love doing this with my little sister or my cousin because they get so excited which then gets me really excited too.

These are just a few things to do on Christmas Eve so you can be more festive or just if you have nothing else to do! I am so excited for Christmas and just cannot wait! See you soon.

Make Yourself Cosy In Winter

Autumn and Winter are by far my favourite months. Halloween, Bonfire Night and of course Christmas all happen but especially in Winter the weather drops by so much and suddenly it is absolutely freezing!! I am going to tell you some of the ways that I keep cosy and warm in the winter time.
The first way is making a tasty, hot drink. This could be hot chocolate, tea or coffee. Hot chocolate is definitely by best Winter drink that I can always depend to make me feel warm and cosy. I usually find the Cadburys hot chocolate is the best hot chocolate that you can have. I have also been getting into green tea and it is actually so nice. If you don't like normal 'english' tea then definitely try this!

After making a nice, hot drink I will get a few biscuits to dip in my drink and then get my favourite fluffy blanket to keep me extra warm- I'm a very cold person.

Winter is the perfect time to wrap up warm in big coats and my absolute favourites beanies. You can basically wear anything in Winter and it looks good so I take advantage of this to keep me warm. I always find in England when it is summer it is still cold and if you wear a big coat you look                                                                      ridiculous. The weather in England is a nightmare!

Candles are amazing to keep you warm when it is cold as well. They give off the best smells as well! You can get candles anywhere, more or less every shop have candles. My favourite candles are probably Yankee Candles!

Lastly as Christmas is upon us, it is the perfect time to decorate your bedroom. I love putting fairy lights up and little decorations. It looks so cute!

These are all just little ways they make me feel cosy in the Winter. I hope this helps you as well!!
See you soon.

Would You Rather Tag

A WOULD YOU RATHER TAG

1.) Would you rather walk around all day with you skirt tucked in your underwear or be seen wearing a really see through dress?Probably be seen wearing a see through dress because you would know if you had a see through dress and I would rather know. Not knowing everyone could see my knickers is so embarrassing.

2.) Would you rather go to a party and not realise until the end of the night that you have lipstick on your teeth or that your fake lashes are coming unglued? Hmm, not knowing that I had lipstick on my teeth is awful but it wouldn't be as noticeable as eyelashes coming unglued so probably eyelashes coming unglued.

3.) Would you rather forget to put mascara on one eye or forget to blush on one side of your face? Definitely, forget to put mascara on one eye because if I forgot to put blush on one side of my face it would be still be red as it is so cold in the UK.

4.) Would you rather wear lipstick/lipliner combo or frosty blue eyeshadow? Lipstick/lipliner combo because I love trying new lipstick colours and generally wearing lipstick.

5.) Would you rather wear foundation two shades too light or go way overboard with bronzer? I absolutely hate foundation that is either too light or too dark so I would have to say go way overboard with bronzer.

6.) Would you rather drink an entire bottle of ketchup or run into the guy who broke your heart on a bad hair day when your skin is breaking out? This is such a hard one! Drinking an entire bottle of ketchup seems disgusting but running into the guy who broke my heart looking disgusting sounds even worse so I would have to say drink an entire bottle of ketchup. I only chose this because if he broke my heart then running into him looking vile would be awful and just make me feel even worse.

7.) Would you rather date any celeb you want or wake up with perfect carpet-worthy hair? What's the point of waking up with amazing hair when you can just do it straight in the morning away. I mean who would pick waking up with nice hair when they can date any celeb they wanted??

8.) Would you rather your armpits smell musky or like delicious lasagne? This is an easy one as well. I love lasagne so I would rather not have my armpits smell musky, thanks. :)

9.) Would you rather give up your makeup or phone for a year? I have my IPad so I could just get 3G on that and take it everywhere with me. I am not giving up my makeup!!

10.) Would you rather run into a cute guy with food all in your stomach or no makeup at all? No makeup at all. Having food in your stomach isn't going to anything to you?!

That is the end of these Would You Rather Questions. I hope you liked it!! See you soon.

10 Things To Do When You Are Bored

We all have those days where we feel like there is absolutely nothing to do and it is torture! However I am going to tell you 10 things that you can do that will keep you occupied throughout the day.

1.) Read a book! Even if you don't like reading it is such a good way to keep you entertained when you are having a boring day. Buying a book doesn't even need to be an expensive purchase at all. You could just go down to a local charity shop and buy a really cheap book from there . They are equally as good and interesting!

2.) Go for a walk. Sometimes you need to stop watching TV, get up from the sofa and go for a walk. Walks really help to clear your mind and think. Also they are great exercise, instead of going on run you can go on a walk and it won't be as tiring.

3.) Find a recipe and bake. Usually, if not always, you will have all the ingredients at your house already! Google is your best friend and if you look on the internet at recipes then you will be able to find anything that you have been craving to eat.

4.) Write what inspires you. Grab a notebook and pen and write down what inspires you. What's the first thing that comes to your mind? Maybe start to write your own little story or a poem.

5.) Do the jobs around you. Everyone has those little jobs that they will not do till the very last minute so why don't you try and make sure you do them so you won't end up stressing later in the week. This might sound really boring but you will thank me when you realise at the end of the day or week that you don't have to do the jobs you have been dreading.

6.) Interact with your family! Play a game with your family and friends. Stop going on your phone for a little while and talk, play games and actually go out on days out.

7.) Go to different events in your local area. There should always be different stuff to around where you live. Now we are near Christmas there are so many different festive events to go to. Markets, Ice Skating, the list goes on... I especially love going to the Christmas Markets. They are so christmassy and festive!!

8.) Have a relaxing bubble bath. This is probably one of the best things to do when you are extremely bored. Fill the water right to the top, put a bath bomb in and some bubbles. Then sit back and relax.

9.) Make your own bucket list. Write down all the amazing things you want to do before you die. I love doing this as it inspires me and I know I can always add other things on in the future.

10.) Make a scrapbook of your favourite memories. This can be a really fun idea. You could be so creative and make your scrapbook into something really fun and colourful.

I hope these ideas have helped you if you are feeling bored right now reading this!
See you soon. Love Erin x

Christmas Hot Chocolate

First of all sorry for the late blog post, been so busy lately! However I'm back and I am going to talk about probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had!
Last week I went to Costa and they had their new Christmas drinks. I decided to get one and it was a hard choice, they all looked so good! Finally I chose the Caramel Fudge Hot Chocolate. As soon as I got it, I knew it would be good.

Yes it was massive and I definitely did not drink it all! Even though it was so filling and sickly as it was so chocolatey it was still amazing. I had never had a better hot chocolate. I think the Christmas lattes are not as sickly though so if you do not have a sweet tooth then they will be better for you.

And of course I had to add a little Christmas chocolate cluster cake at the bottom. Always have to have a little cake with a hot chocolate.

Let me know if you have tried any of these new Costa drinks in the comments. See you soon, Erin x
