5 Ways To Sleep Easier
Sleeping has always been a struggle for me. Sometimes I am trying to get to sleep for at least 2 hours and I end up just lying there for what feels the longest time. Recently I have been trying to find ways to help me get to sleep easier and they actually have worked so I thought I would share some of them with you.
1.) Turn off your phone an hour before going to bed. From recent studies scientists have proven that going on technology in the hour before bed it really disrupts your sleeping pattern. So by turning your device off or TV an hour before will really help you to get to sleep better. Also your phone won't disturb you in the night if someone emails or texts you which is always so annoying.
2.) Make yourself a STRICT sleeping schedule. Your sleeping schedule could be go to bed at 10 pm and wake up at 8:30 am. By doing this your body will get used to waking up and going to sleep at that time. It will get into a sleeping pattern and you will be able to easily fall asleep and for a bonus get up early.
3.) Cool and quiet. The best conditions to sleep is your room to be cool and quiet. Having your room lower than room temperature and sleeping in darkness is definitely the best way to sleep. So all the people who can't get to sleep and have night lights on, that is the problem!
4.) Music is the best thing! Music is my best friend when I can't get to sleep. You can either put on your favourite songs or even a little bit of classical music. It makes you feel very relaxed which consequently makes you fall asleep.
5.) Take your socks off.
Okay, so this is a bit of a silly one but I think it really helps, well it does for me (maybe I am just weird though). When ever I get into bed and can't get to sleep, the first thing I do is check if I have socks on and if I do I immediately take them off. Soon enough I am fast asleep.
