How To Be Sure To Exercise At Least Once A Week

I don't know if it's just me but if I have to do something, like exercise, I literally do not have any motivation to do it. For example my mum says that I have to go on two runs a week, when she said this I felt like I would not be able to do this which come to think of it now is so bad. However now that I have started doing it, it is so much more easier for me to do it! So for this blog post I wanted to talk about how you can be sure to exercise at least once a week.

Firstly I feel like you need to make sure you have a plan of how and when you want to exercise. For example you might want to go running on a Monday and Thursday for 15 minutes. By doing this you will find that you will get more excited to actually exercise because you would have already planned it out.

Maybe go on a mini fitness shopping spree, everyone loves shopping, even if you say you don't I bet you secretly do. So by buying some fitness clothes it will make you want to wear them and what do you wear them for? Exercising!

Do it first thing in the morning! If you don't do it in the morning when you wake up then you will put it off till the end of the day and soon enough the evening will come along. Who wants to exercise in the evening when you could be eating a Dominoes pizza?

Do you exercise at least once a week?

The Spring Tag

Spring is here and I thought I would do a little tag about, well I don't really know what it is about, just Spring really.

Favourite Spring nail polish?
My favourite nail polish for Spring must be my Barry M 272, Shocking Pink. It is a really bright pink and is perfect for Spring time. It makes your nails stand out and the colour is so pretty!

What is your must-have lip colour this Spring?
I'm not really for bright pinks on the lips even in Spring so my favourite lip colour would be my Mac Velvet Teddy. This is a gorgeous matte lip stick that stays on all day.

What's your favourite flower?
I absolutely love roses, light pink roses. They are just so beautiful and I love the way that they look like with all the petals neatly arranged eventually ending up in the middle.

Favourite Spring accessory?
Definitely my Pandora bracelet, I love it so much!! It just adds something to every single outfit, I would say this is my favourite accessory for all year round not just Spring.

What Spring trends are you excited for this season?
I am really liking the caps and bandanna's for your hair, and the hair rings that have suddenly made an appearance. Also I just can't wait to actually wear dresses, especially maxi dresses. When you have a dress on you feel so much more girly and happy, I love it.

Favourite perfume for Spring?
The Victor and Rolf Bon Bon perfume that came out this time last year. Not only does it have the sweetest smell ever but it comes in the cutest bottle as well, absolutely perfect for Spring.

What is Spring like where you live?
In the UK it is, surprisingly, it is actually getting quite warm. Not hot but warm, I don't think that in Spring the weather could be hot. If it did then literally everyone would go crazy!

What's your favourite thing about Spring?
The weather, of course. England have the longest period of Winter ever and when the sun starts to come out everyone always becomes so much happier. There are smiles and laughter everywhere and when I know other people are happy that makes me happy, it is contagious.

Are you a Spring cleaner?
Hmm, I'm not really a cleaner anything to be honest. I try and keep my room the cleanest I think it has to be but sorting out wardrobes and dressing tables is not high on my list.

Any plans for Spring break?
Yes, I am going to Brighton and London on the 22nd, I will already be there while you are reading this, so will definitely be taking a lot of pictures!!

Teen Talk | Breaking Bad Friendships

There will be times in your life when something will click and you will just know what you have to do. This could be from collecting a hamburger from McDonald's, revising for a test that you have left last minute or walking away from something that is not making you happy any more.

If someone is putting you down all the time then why carry on talking or being with them? As Walter White would say " I came to realise that fear is the worst of it. That's the real enemy. So get up, get out the real world. And kick that bastard as hard as you can in the teeth ". I mean I am not encouraging violence but really if someone is constantly putting you down, don't even think of wasting your time on them because they will not be worth it.

I find that it's not the fact that you can't or don't want to break the friendship but that you are too scared too. Who wants to go up to a close friend and completely end the relationship that they have? To be able to do that you need to be strong and firm, with also a lot of confidence.

If you are reading this and want to break off a bad friendship, then I say go for it now until it is too late. What would be the worst thing that could happen? Losing all your other friends, if they don't want to be friends with you because you don't want to be friends with a person that doesn't make you happy then are they your real friends? Just think of how you will feel after you have done it, proud, happy and excited. You will never what it could bring from doing it, if your heart and brain says yes, go and do it with your head held high.

Have you ever broke a bad friendship?

Dreaming Of Summers

The excitement of going on holiday in the Winter is always high. I am constantly craving the sun and remembering the past holidays that I have had. Two years ago I went to Florida with my mum and everyday was an experience of a life time.

On the plane there I was so excited. Since my mum had booked earlier that year, I had literally been counting down the days, by saying literally I had got an app for my phone which would actually count down the days. The only time I had been on a long plane journey before was when I was 6 when I had visited Florida for the first time. Going abroad at 6, in the future you don't really remember it when you come back home so being able to relive memories was the best thing ever!

We arrived at this amazing hotel, everything about it was just so beautiful. In the morning we would go down for breakfast and everyday I experienced the best bagels, pancakes and waffles I had ever tasted. As you all know Florida is best known for the different theme parks that you can go to. When visiting these parks you were able to see many animals. Three highlights of the trip was swimming with dolphins, snorkelling and getting to touch and feed giraffes. I never stopped smiling whilst doing these things!

Looking back on this picture now I can't even believe that I was able to do this experience. We were able to do this at Discovery Cove and we were told that all the dolphins were cared for properly and were in good health. I know that there are other places in the world that don't necessarily take care of sea animals properly, by knowing this we would never go to a place that didn't give their whole attention to the animals or didn't take care of them like they should do. I have also noticed how much I have changed since this, not from the outside but from the inside also.

One of my favourite parks had to be Disney World, it was so magical and I loved how there was happy and excited spirit in the air. Everywhere you looked there was Disney characters walking around and cute, little 'houses' and shops. I couldn't resist going to the different characters and princesses and taking pictures with them, it was like I could just be my younger self again.

However at night was where it became even more magical (if that's even possible)! We went to Disney many evenings because there was so much you could do. My favourite night was when we saw Cinderella's castle. Tinkerbell flew off it at the top and we got to see the best firework display that I had ever seen!

Unforgettable memories, mouth watering food, humid air, laughs and smiles, magic moments and many experiences that I will never forget!
Florida was such a mesmerizing holiday and I will definitely be returning in the future.

What has been your favourite holiday?

Is Change Good?

Everyone changes. It could happen in a year, a month or even a week. I know that last year I was a totally different person than I am now, low self esteem, anxious and definitely not my happiest. It is actually quite scary how someone can change so quickly, for the better or for the worse.

Is change good? I have thinking about this question for a while recently and I think it all depends. There are so many different ways people can change. I know people who have been so shy and then became confident and then I have known people who have studied for school and then started to pay no attention which then led to them failing classes. It is how a person wants to change.

Change is very scary, in your whole life you could change into a person that you don't want to be many times and you won't even realise it. However changing into a better person is exciting and a chance that you would never want to miss.

Life is what you make of it, and change is only one small thing that comes with it. I think the best thing to do is to do what you think you should do. Always change if your heart tells you to, NOT if someone else tells you to!

What is your opinion of change?

Pressured To Be Perfect

Why do you eat so much? Why do you not wear makeup? Why do you not have those shoes? Why do you not have your hair like that? More or less everyone nowadays always feels pressured to be perfect. However not one person in the whole world is perfect. Even if in your opinion you think someone is,they might have flawless hair or the nicest clothes, in many cases they will look in the mirror and point out all of the things they hate about themselves or that other people have and they don't. No one should have to feel like this but unfortunately it is never going to stop.

It won't stop because judging people for what they do, how they look and what their personality is, is stuck in today's society. One word from someone who is being careless about what they are saying could affect someone's life. For example the word fat. Everybody comes in different shapes and sizes, they may not be able to help it. No one should be called this word, said once and it could lead to eating disorders or to becoming anorexic.

What I am trying to say is that not one person should have to feel like they have to put make up on to cover up their spots or freckles and not one person should have to feel like they can't show off their legs because someone or themselves think they are too big! Everybody is beautiful in their own way!
So if anyone is reading this and not feeling confident about themselves or have been pressured to be 'perfect' just remember that you are not alone. Most people feel like this and you shouldn't haven't to be ashamed of anything about yourself!!

Have you ever been pressured to be perfect?
See you soon,

Little Changes To Make 2016 Better!

I hate when you have them days where you feel really down and feel really lazy. In 2016 I want to make the year count, and not sit around all day doing nothing or watching my favourite tv show.
Don't get me wrong I'm not going to be going full out and take big risks that are out of my comfort zone, I am only going to take small steps. I think gradually if you start doing something that is productive but small at the same time it becomes something that you do all of the time like a daily or weekly habit. That is what I am going to try and do for this year and when it becomes a habit I will make some more changes. So here are some of the ways where I or you could change your life in 2016.

1.) Keep a diary. I think writing a diary or journal is so helpful to put your thoughts somewhere instead of being in your mind ALL of the time! I am such an over-thinker and when I did start a little diary last year I found it help so much. If you don't feel like writing a essay everyday, then you can get different kinds of diaries such as the one above, Q&A a day. This journal is amazing because it asks you a question everyday for a year but then gives you another four lines for the next year four years. So basically you write an answer for one question for five years. Does that make sense? Probably not but I love it and it is a really good way to look back on your life.

Exercise. Working out is always a big effort. However once you have done it you feel so great about yourself. You don't even have to do it everyday, maybe once a week or even twice if you get used to it. Yoga and walking is always an option as well if you don't want to run or do another sport.

Wake up early. Try and make a schedule and put your alarm on at a time like 8:30 am. Doing this makes you 1.) Not waste your day and 2.) Generally if you don't have a set time when you get up and have a lot of lie ins then you will feel more tired so if you put yourself in a routine then you will feel more awake!

Spring clean. Declutter your wardrobe or makeup collection. Anything that you don't want anymore you could give away to family or friends or donate it to charity. Clearing out makes you feel so much more organised and it can be quite fun. Put some music on, dance and have a good time!

What are some of your changes you are going to do this year?
See you soon,

Ways To Beat The January Blues

Now the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year is over, nearly everyone is in the January blues. No more festive spirits and excitement, only being cold and moody. To keep you all out of feeling down, here are some ways to make this January your best January ever.

1.) Eat all of the junk food you got at Christmas. Chocolate and sweets always make you feel better. Whenever I have had a bad day or I am just feeling down I will go and get something to eat that I love. Don't get me wrong don't eat to much but Christmas junk food is okay, I mean who else is going to eat it?

2.) Watch lots of films and Tv shows. Films and Tv shows are a great way to make yourself occupied, amused and to take your mind of the horrible weather that is outside. Being wrapped in a blanket with a warm hot chocolate while watching your favourite film must be the BEST feeling ever!

3.) Go on a shopping spree. If you have any money left over from Christmas, spend it on some little things that you can treat yourself with. This could be clothes, make up or some sunglasses that you really wanted.

4.) Get baking! Cakes, biscuits, brownies and anything else you can bake is always going to cheer you up. It is basically what they are there for! The excitement and fun of baking is my favourite thing, however I do also like it when they are finished so I can eat them all up.

5.) Socialise with family and friends. I guess this kind of contradicts my second point.) Watch lots of films and Tv shows. Of course this is always an option but talking to real people, not shouting at computer screen at your favourite characters is a great way to forget about the January blues!

What do you do to try and get rid of your January blues?

5 Ways To Sleep Easier

Sleeping has always been a struggle for me. Sometimes I am trying to get to sleep for at least 2 hours and I end up just lying there for what feels the longest time. Recently I have been trying to find ways to help me get to sleep easier and they actually have worked so I thought I would share some of them with you.

1.) Turn off your phone an hour before going to bed. From recent studies scientists have proven that going on technology in the hour before bed it really disrupts your sleeping pattern. So by turning your device off or TV an hour before will really help you to get to sleep better. Also your phone won't disturb you in the night if someone emails or texts you which is always so annoying.

2.) Make yourself a STRICT sleeping schedule. Your sleeping schedule could be go to bed at 10 pm and wake up at 8:30 am. By doing this your body will get used to waking up and going to sleep at that time. It will get into a sleeping pattern and you will be able to easily fall asleep and for a bonus get up early.

3.)  Cool and quiet. The best conditions to sleep is your room to be cool and quiet. Having your room lower than room temperature and sleeping in darkness is definitely the best way to sleep. So all the people who can't get to sleep and have night lights on, that is the problem!

4.) Music is the best thing! Music is my best friend when I can't get to sleep. You can either put on your favourite songs or even a little bit of classical music. It makes you feel very relaxed which consequently makes you fall asleep.

5.) Take your socks off.
Okay, so this is a bit of a silly one but I think it really helps, well it does for me (maybe I am just weird though). When ever I get into bed and can't get to sleep, the first thing I do is check if I have socks on and if I do I immediately take them off. Soon enough I am fast asleep. Please try this and tell me if it works for you!!

Do you have trouble falling to sleep?

Travel Bucket List

When I am older I would LOVE to go travelling! Going to different countries, meeting new people and seeing other cultures seems amazing. Even though I have fears of travelling, if I went to the countries and experienced them I would totally forget about being scared.
Bucket lists are the best as well. I am constantly making them so I can look back at them in the future. I thought that I would make a travel bucket list of all my favourite countries and cities, then maybe in the future I could look at them and tick them off if I get to go to them.

New York City:
All of them shops and restaurants look so incredible. My bank would hate me afterwards though...

Lapland:
It looks so memorising and it seems so magical.

Bora Bora:
I mean who wouldn't want to go here?

Australia:
Since I was little, I have always wanted to go to Australia and just explore the whole country ( well maybe not the whole, I would probably be there the whole of my life).

LA:
Beaches, sun and shops. Basically all I want...

Italy:
Italy is so beautiful and I would love to be able to visit all over the country.

Canada:
This country seems amazing, especially at Winter!

What's on your travel bucket list?

How To Stay Motivated For New Year Resolutions

New Year resolutions are so easy to say and plan but actually so hard to carry out. I know I am the worst for this and never find any motivation to actually try and do my resolutions. I thought I would write down some ways that you could motivate yourself so you don't follow in my footsteps.

1.) Write all your resolutions down, even the absolutely crazy ones and then stick them up somewhere where you will see them all the time. Writing them all down and putting them somewhere you will constantly see them will remind you of them and make you think of them 24/7. Stick them on your mirror while doing your makeup or put them on the fridge where you get your food... yes I know your secret for your obsession of food.

2.) Ask yourself questions about your resolutions all the time. For example if one of your resolutions is going to the gym more, ask yourself what you are going to wear or when you are going to go. This will make you more excited to actually go because you are planning it out.

3.) Create a schedule and put it on your wall. One of my resolutions is to drink more water so if I write down a schedule of when I am going to drink more water, such as drink water every hour, then I am more likely to go and do it.

4.) When you are bored don't go on your phone or watch TV. One of your resolutions might be to eat more healthy. Instead of sitting there scrolling through instagram you could get up and make yourself something healthy to eat, even if it is just a fruit bowel. You will feel so much better after eating it and it is fun to make as well!

I hope these little ways benefit you in some way and maybe persuade to carry out your new year resolutions.

New Year Resolutions

How crazy is it that 2016 is already upon us! This year has gone so quick,I've had my ups and downs but hopefully next year will be better.
I never really make new year resolutions because I never really see the point of them. Hardly anyone sticks to them, well I personally don't. However next year I am going to try my very hardest to stick to my personal goals that I will be setting.

1. Stop biting my nails. I know this sounds really disgusting- haha but I really need to get rid of this habit once and for all! I would love to have long nails so I can actually be bothered to paint them, instead of leaving them ugly.

2. To really try my hardest on making my blog good. I started this blog a couple of months back to tell people my passions, interests and what I get up to. What I like and dislike. Over the next year, I would really love to be able to make good content and make my blog looking nice.

3.) To drink more water. I am literally a cactus. I can drink one cup of water all day and not even feel thirsty for the rest of next day. Over the next year I am going to force myself to drink more water as it is just getting to ridiculous.

4. To not care what people think. I know this is said by a lot of people but this is definitely something I need to work on. I am constantly worrying what others think of me and it is getting to the point where I get really stressed about it as well. I don't want to start next year being worried about what other people think of my life.

What are your new year resolutions?
